THE BASIC RIGHT THAT EVERYONE HAS OF LIVING WITH THE DIFFERENCE: THE INCLUSIVE PROCESS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

RESUMO

O artigo trata sobre a inclusão das pessoas com deficiências nas escolas, versando tanto sobre o ponto de vista do incluído, como dos que convivem com a inclusão, demonstrando claramente os pontos positivos trazidos para ambos. Inicialmente, é feita uma abordagem constitucional, em seguida, é feita a análise sobre as políticas públicas de inclusão dessa categoria e o posicionamento do governo sobre a temática. E, por fim, é dada ênfase à importância da inclusão e às transformações humanas geradas por ela, tanto na pessoa com deficiência, que passa a conviver com a maioria, como, e principalmente, da maioria que passa a conviver com a minoria, porque esse também configura um direito básico de todo cidadão, saber conviver com a diferença.

ABSTRACT

The article deals with the inclusion of people who have disabilities in schools, covering both on the point of view included, as those who live with the inclusion, clearly demonstrating the strengths brought to both. We begin with a constitutional approach, then the analysis is made on the public policy of inclusion of this category and the government's position on the subject, and finally, the emphasis is on the importance of inclusion and human transformations generated by it, both in disabled person who has to deal with most, but, above, the majority has to deal with the minority, because it also sets up a basic right of every citizen to live with knowing the difference.
